Diversity

We are a founder member of Prime, an initiative to improve fair access to the legal profession by providing high-quality work experience for young people from less advantaged backgrounds. We have also signed the Social Mobility Business Compact – launched in the UK by the Deputy Prime Minister’s office – by which we commit to making access to work opportunities fair and open.

We have longstanding relationships with reforming programmes such as TARGET Chances, Pathways to Law, Pure Potential, Sponsorship for Educational Opportunity, Social Mobility Foundation and the Bright Network, seeking to improve access to students from under-represented black and ethnic minority backgrounds into our summer vacation schemes.

We have been awarded the Disability Two Ticks Symbol by Jobcentre Plus for adopting a proactive approach to employing disabled people and trying to create a more diverse workforce. Our Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender network (LGBTn) focuses on fostering an inclusive and supportive environment for all of our LGBT employees and clients, while creating a dynamic LGBT community within the firm.

Our women’s network provides learning and networking opportunities for partners, employees and clients.

We also have a multi-faith prayer room in our London office for prayer or quiet contemplation.

Our Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Allies network (LGBTA) focuses on fostering an inclusive and supportive environment for all of our LGBT employees and clients, while creating a dynamic LGBT community within the firm.
